Mel
Mel is the director and founder of Design Grid. Mel has more than 20 years of experience in the web industry and is an expert in web design and development, brand development, graphic design, IT strategies, SEO, project management and Usability (UX).
Mel works with a wide range of platforms, including WordPress and Shopify working with major clients including Telstra, Myki, Tennis Australia and Victoriaโs favourite sport โ AFL! With a Bachelor in Fine Arts (Drawing), a Graduate Diploma in Education and a Graduate Diploma in Multimedia, Mel is skilled at combining the technical aspects of Web Design and business logo creation with a creative flair, producing modern yet simple designs.
Mel is the proud parent of two beautiful daughters, and in her spare time, when not hanging out with her kids, she loves hiking, drawing, playing hockey, camping and of course, going to the AFL barracking for the Western Bulldogs. One-eyed definitely!
Annys
Annys is one of our social media specialists and content/blog writers.
She has six years of experience teaching English as a Second Language, in addition to 2 years of experience in creating social media content and other administrative tasks.
Annys started in this field because she enjoys writing blogs, creating content that is engaging and learning new skills. Her biggest accomplishment is moving to Australia from the UK, and her values include being nice to people and always putting 100% into whatever she does!
Dianne
Dianne is an all-rounder specialising in integrated blogging, social networking and social media strategies with over 12 years of experience.
Dianne is very keen on supporting every aspect of the work, from setting up, planning, and coordinating the execution and maintenance of the marketing plan to the returned excellent results.
Aside from being an expert in social media marketing, she is great at writing and can easily adapt her skills to any business, niche or working environment. We love her compassion and dedication in speaking to any client and capturing the full task of the work set out for her!
Jas
Jas is an expert at Full Stack Development, with experience in a variety of areas, including but not limited to:
- Languages: PHP (Laravel, CodeIgniter, Cakephp), .NET
- CMS: WordPress, Shopify
- Mobile app development: Native iOS(Swift), Android(Kotlin/Java), Flutter;
- Front-end Design: UI/UX, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery.
He has a BE in Computer Science Engineering, with ten years of experience in Web and Mobile App development. Jas developed an interest in programming in his college days when he was involved in inter-college competitions about programming. He enjoys coding as it offers the opportunity to learn something new within this field every day, and he has worked for clients from numerous industries worldwide โ including entertainment, education, health care, real estate, restaurants and E-commerce. His most significant accomplishment has been maintaining his exceptional client satisfaction rate from more than 500 + projects that he has worked on.
He enjoys reading and learning about new types of technology related to web development, travelling and outdoor activities.
Michael
Michael started in this industry in 2010 following his Bachelorโs degree in IT and specialises in Web Design and Development, Graphic Design, SEO and SEM, Web Hosting Management and PPC Management.
As our all-rounder, like Mel, he has extensive experience working with PHP, HTML, CSS, Javascript, WordPress and SEO programs such as SEMRush, SE Ranking, Google Ads and Google Analytics. Letโs not forget email and content marketing with experience in tools such as Mailchimp and Hubspot and more!
His keen eye for visual interface design for website and navigation flow has led him to work with large companies, including IMG Distribution, one of the UKโs largest distributors of BMX bikes and Bicycle accessories. Through this role, he helped develop a B2B E-commerce website for IMG, managing the e-commerce website for eight years.
Michaelโs most significant achievement to date is designing and developing a website for a UK charity called โBorn Too Soonโ, which supports sick and premature babies in the UK.
Michael values integrity and hard work, and in his free time, he enjoys socialising with friends & family, creating music, video games and travelling.
Satish
Satish has more than ten years of experience working with CRM/CMS platforms, including WordPress, Wix, Magento, Shopify, Joomla, Squarespace, Webflow, PHP, Codig PHP, Codiginator, Laravel, Clickfunnel and Godaddy builder, to name a few!
He has an MCA (Masters of Computer Applications) with PHP experience and has experience working with clients from the USA, New Zealand and Australia. Satish commits to providing 100% satisfaction to all our clients, and in his spare time, he enjoys surfing the internet, using Facebook and learning new skills.
With over six years of experience in the Digital Marketing field, Sunil brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in areas including social media and content marketing, on-page and off-page SEO and link building / citation building. He has worked for many clients and niches during this time, including clothing retailers, solar energy companies, law and real estate firms, and the health and fitness area.
Sunil has a B.S.c in Non-Medical, an MBA in Marketing, and started in this field because of the rapid rate of growth within Digital Marketing โ he believes digital marketing has a strong future ahead!
His biggest achievement has been a Body Sculpting Institute website, which has seen a consistent increase in domain traffic since working with them. Sunilโs passion is โto be good at what I do. To learn things and master them quickly, to amaze myself with my creativity before anyone else.โ He is passionate about making a difference โ โI want to achieve success with any project at work, and I feel the same about what I do in my personal lifeโ. He enjoys playing cricket, badminton, reading and travelling in his spare time.
